Expo "Funny Robots" - Christian Willems

Christian Willems is a genuine Belgian multi-facetted artist, and started his artistic career in the music scene where he gained fame as the drummer / producer of Abbey Road for 16 years.


In 2014 he quited the music scene and returned to his love for the applied arts : painting and sculpture.


A bit by coincidence, he made name and fame in the Up-cycling Art Movement.
His works have been on display at several national and international shows, each time praised for the minute detail and quality of his installations.


His works evoke humour, poetry and a unique sense of creativity.
In the assembly of various objects, the installations seem to come alive, transporting us to pleasant memories of our recent past.

 

It takes several months to make each art piece, and each creation is one-of-a-kind. The artist produces a limited number of installations each year.
