A tribute to skin scarification culture - another dimension of Kara tribe culture. Small organic objects are inserted under the skin to create a decorative motif. Akaso developed a unique savoir faire to translate this art form on Italian calf leather: one can feel the three dimensional scars whilst keeping the leather very souple.
The Akaso Kara Scars motif took inspiration from a geometric body painting pattern. Bags and accessories are made in Europe with Italian calf leather, lined with goat suede in contrast colour and white gold plated metal accessories.
