SHOP SALES STAFF

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

CORE RESPONSABILITIES

·      Maximize turnover en optimize store efficiency and profitability

·      Build and develop relationships with other retailers in the neighborhood

·      Build a customer network and actively develop customer relations

·      Make product knowledge and trained sales techniques your own, with a view to optimize customer experience and superior customer loyalty

·      Produce a clear debrief of the store performance towards Headquarter

·      A responsible execution of the procedures on the work floor, from customer interaction to reporting tools (invoices, purchase orders etc)

·      Contribute to a positive and good vibe atmosphere at the work floor

 

 

MERCHANDISING

·      Execute Global Visual Merchandising Guidelines in accordance with the store customer profile

·      Guarantee that the store is clean and tidy at all times

·      Deliver an attractive product presentation in store (ex. Hangers nicely ordered)

·      Make sure new items are displayed in store and window following the Global Guidelines, objectives and season

·      Keep the work place neat and tidy (stock, shop, fitting rooms, till station)

 

 

STOCK MANAGEMENT

·      Store stock is managed by Headquarters.  Inform Headquarters about specific stock needs.

·      Guarantee optimal storage of goods following Headquarter Guidelines

·      Execute inventories following Headquarter instructions

 

 

PROCEDURE RESPONSABILITIES

·      Guarantee a correct presentation and good maintenance of the store in accordance with the company’s DNA and values

·      Correct execution of the various management procedures (sales actions, orders, service, reporting)

 

 

STORE MAINTENANCE

·      Keep the store clean and tidy at all times (floor, cupboards, till …)

·      Suggest maintenance and renovation works to keep the store in perfect shape

 

 

COMMUNICATION

·      You communicate with the Headquarter on a regular basis

·      You make a weekly report about the shop performance, including actions that need to be taken

 

 

EXTRA ACTIVITIES : MARKETING

Depending on candidate experience and skills:

·      You contribute in the execution of our digital media communication (newsletters, Facebook) in accordance with Headquarter (graphic work, content management)

·      You advise Headquarter in local PR opportunities and take initiatives within a set and agreed framework and budget

YOUR PROFILE

·      Woman / Man

·      Minimum of 10  years working experience, not necessarily in retail

·      Fluent in Spoken French and English and very good knowledge of Dutch (spoken)

·      Strong communication skills

·      Outgoing character

·      Well organized
